World Water Day is an international awareness day that has been celebrated since 1993, and a good date to publicize good management practices and responsible use of this valuable water resource in our region.
At ADN, architectural and construction measures have been applied to respect the balance of the natural terrain, for example through the use of permeable foundations and the incorporation of a wastewater treatment plant that will allow gray water to be reused for garden irrigation.
Work has also been carried out on the ground to promote the rational use of natural resources in the community, through visits to the different nearby human settlements, and an important contribution to implement the improvement of the Ventanilla Wetlands Regional Conservation Area, in jointly with the Regional Management of Natural Resources and Environmental Management GORE.
